We want to emphasize the great reception this tournament has received. At the time of writing this announcement, we have 353 registered players representing 48 countries. Among them are: 1 GM, 9 SIM, 34 IM, 97 CCM, 64 CCE and 1 LIM.
The average ELO of the highest level groups is currently: 2451 in the first, 2412 in the second, 2392 in the third, 2380 in the fourth, 2370 in the fifth, 2357 in the sixth, 2341 in the seventh and 2326 in the eighth. At least it will be possible to get GM norm in 2 groups and SIM norm in 8 groups!!
Tournament description
Any player can play this tournament regardless of his rating. The tournament will be played in a single phase.
Registered players grouped by rating will be allocated to groups of 11 or 13 players, so that all group members have a similar rating. The number of groups will depend on the number of registrations.
The start date of the tournament is December 20, 2022.
The registration fee is 5 €.
The tournament will be played on the ICCF server at triple block time control with an appropriate tournament duration according to the average rating of each group:
The tournament will be rated and valid to obtain the norms for ICCF titles in groups that meet all the conditions required by the ICCF.
Registrations
The playing system of VI AEAC Master only lets a single registration because the groups are formed by rating order and there is only one phase.
The registrations and the payment of the fees for VI AEAC Master must be done by the DE system in the server of the ICCF opening the menu Spain in New Events. The link leads to the registrations for VI AEAC Master.
Inscriptions must be received no later than December 10, 2022.
Prizes
This tournament has three prizes for every group: AEAC diploma for the first, second and third place. In this respect, the following tiebreak system applies: 1. Baumbach, 2. Sonnenborn-Berger, 3. the results of the tied players against each other and 4. the lower rating at the start of the tournament.
